Harvey Blake on hunting, trapping, changes through the years and advice for people wanting to be on the land.
Harvey Blake is a hunter and trapper in North West River, Labrador. Blake started trapping at a young age, and learned through experience as he trapped foxes and lynx. Blake hopes young people today will continue the traditions of the area and continue trapping in the future. Blake spoke to the Lake Melville School Grade 5 & Grade 6 Classes. Labrador Legacy is a podcast created by the Grade 5 & Grade 6 classes, in partnership with Lake Melville School. The program was funded by the provincial ArtsSmarts Program.
